Why Locals Love 75 Main

Nestled in the heart of Southampton, 75 Main is a vibrant American restaurant that effortlessly blends classic coastal flavors with Italian influences, crafting an inviting culinary experience for locals and visitors alike. Its diverse menu appeals to a wide range of palates, featuring standout dishes that showcase the fresh bounty of the sea alongside thoughtfully prepared vegan options.

Begin your meal with enticing starters like the Little Neck Clams with fennel and roasted tomato—a delicate balance of briny sweetness and aromatic freshness—or the Burrata paired with fresh vine-ripe tomatoes, peppery arugula, and fragrant basil drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. For a richer indulgence, the Petiti Maine Lobster Roll is a sumptuous treat, offering tender lobster meat nestled in a perfectly toasted roll. The Caesar Salad with toasted garlic croutons and parmesan provides a familiar comfort, while the Chef’s Charcuterie for Two brings together artisan cheeses and cured meats that delight the senses.

The lunch menu shines with coastal-European elegance, featuring items like Linguine Clams simmered in a garlicky Pinot Grigio sauce, Tuna Nicoise Salad bursting with cured meats, and a succulent Lobster Quesadilla that merges surf and turf in a creative, flavorful way. Sides elevate the meal further—with truffle fries delivering an earthy decadence, baby bok choy sautéed to tender perfection, and mashed potatoes made luscious with the option of truffle sauce.

The atmosphere at 75 Main carries a metropolitan energy softened by the easygoing charm of seaside living. Outdoor seating offers excellent people-watching opportunities on charming Main Street, especially perfect on pleasant afternoons. Inside, the décor is clean and vibrant, a refreshing contrast to some of the more staid or pretentious Hamptons hot spots. While some guests have noted the occasional brusqueness of service—especially during off-season periods—the overall ambiance remains warm, lively, and welcoming, inviting you to savor the moment and the flavors.

Vegan diners will appreciate thoughtful options that do not sacrifice flavor or creativity, ensuring a truly inclusive dining experience. Whether you’re craving fresh seafood, hearty Italian-inspired dishes, or vibrant plant-based meals, 75 Main delivers with finesse.

Located at 75 Main St, Southampton, this restaurant is a culinary gem for both casual lunches and elegant dinners, embodying the spirit of the Hamptons with approachability and taste. For a memorable outing, don’t miss the chance to toast the sunset with expertly crafted cocktails from the bar, rounding out the perfect visit.

Good food. Nice decor. But service is lacking warmth or welcoming atmosphere. Not sure if it is because it is off season or because normally it's busier. Idk. I just felt like a transaction rather than a guest. A smile goes a long way for return customers.

Zach has outdone himself. If you've seen the TV show, you know. This is an amazing restaurant now. Clean and vibrant. The heart of Southampton. I visit many restaurants and I will say the Hamptons can have a very expensive, negative vibe. They can be snooty and uninviting unless you're a local or rich, at least that's the vibe it can give off. Not here! They are inviting and the food and drinks are top notch. Spicy Margarita and Watermelon Marg were on point. The Cobb salad was super fresh and the linguini and clams were delicious! Well done. The staff was friendly, timely and did it all with a smile. Thanks for having us and we plan to return. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

We sat outside. Great people watching. No changes to menu items allowed. O was planning on ordering chopped salad but i like romaine. Waitress said no. So I ordered Brussels sprouts and crab cake. Both were delicious. We also has a wedge salad to share and my husband has chicken parm. I thought the chicken tastes. But I was not a fan of the sauce. To be fair not an Italian restaurant so personally I wouldn’t have ordered that. The wedge salad has great tomatoes and dressing was good. I would have like more of a wedge without the mixed greens on top. Service was decent. I will go back just for their delicious Brussels sprouts it’s a great spot to sit outside but the inside decor was gorgeous

We came to Southampton over Labor Day weekend to enjoy the beautiful weather and final days of summer. 75 Main was very busy when we arrived, but a table fortunately opened up outside, so we were able to dine here for brunch. Until I saw the menu, I had no idea this was part of a reality TV show called “Serving the Hamptons,” on HBO. I would’ve ordered the Lobster Roll, but they told me it was marinated in mayonnaise and couldn’t remove it, so I chose the Avocado Toast instead. The avocado could’ve been sliced more thinly (with the same amount) and more nicely presented, but it was good and I enjoyed the artisan bread it was on. Since they had no uniforms, some of the staff looked like customers or people walking on the street, so there were a few occasions when we were surprised with seemingly random people coming up to our table to clear away our plates. After we got home, we checked out the show. Looking forward to dining at Blu Mar next time.

The location is very nice, we loved the service! I do not remember his name but it’s the Armenian guy eggs Benedict was very good, the avocado toast was good but it would be amazing if I had sourdough bread besides multigrain bagel, next time I will ask for it! The avocado was on point! Pricey but you are in the Hamptons, what do you think?! Hahaha 150, for everything on the pic

The food was absolutely delicious! The asparagus & spinach ravioli was so fresh tasting and very flavorful, plus it was vegan. The interior was beautiful and even though it was extremely busy, our waitress was fast, sweet, and efficient! We had reservations and there was no wait, so I definitely recommend everyone makes one since it’s very very busy. It is quite expensive but that’s the Hamptons for you, well worth the price!
